Disappointed…Diabetes Be aWare Campaign Not Ready

Hoping to bring everyone the first hand coverage of the First Diabetes Be aWare Campaign in Suntec City, Singapore, i went down early at 11am this morning, the very first day of the Campaign.

What a disappointment, there weren’t any signs directing people to the exhibition place. Instead, i saw poster on some cancer awareness, the world book fair and Barney’s 20th anniversary activites etc…for a moment i thought i remembered the venue wrongly.

Finally, i found the exhibition to be near Mango store but another disappointment, the place is fenced up and the staff are still putting up posters and exhibits. Having no choice but to walk and browse outside when i saw a poster saying the event will only start at 1730hrs. Nothing of this was mentioned in the papers, if not i wouldn’t have wasted a trip there.
