Can you believe it? There are 54 million prediabetics in USA alone. The numbers are staggering and is on the rising trend. Worse still are that most of them don’t even know it.
Why is preventing prediabetes so important? It is because of the potential complications associated to full blown diabetes like heart and kidney diseases, blindness, nerves and amputation.
Diabetes is the number one cause of amputation, kidney damage and blindness in Singapore and is the common cause of gum disease.
